By using Vuelo’s Pay in Full service, you acknowledge the applicability of the following terms (“Terms”), establishing a legally binding agreement between Vuelo Financial Services UK Limited (“Vuelo”, “we”, “us”, and “our”) and yourself, as a user of our service (“you”).
These Terms pertain to the Pay in Full payment option described below (“Service”). Prior to using the Service, we urge you to thoroughly review these Terms. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms, please refrain from using the Service.
Pay in Full is a payment option that allows you to pay the total cost of your travel booking immediately at the point of purchase using a debit or credit card. This is not a credit product. Vuelo does not charge you any interest or fees for using Pay in Full.
Pay in Full is available for flight and hotel bookings made through the Vuelo App or Vuelo’s web platform.
When you select Pay in Full at checkout, you authorise Vuelo to charge the full amount of your booking to the payment card you specify. Your card will be debited at the time of purchase.
Once payment has been successfully processed, Vuelo will confirm your booking with the relevant travel provider (airline, hotel, or other supplier). A booking confirmation and receipt will be sent to the email address registered to your Vuelo account, and full transaction details will be visible in the Vuelo App.
To use Pay in Full, you must:
We do not accept prepaid cards for Pay in Full transactions. Vuelo reserves the right to limit the types of payment cards accepted at its discretion. You will be notified if a particular card cannot be used before your booking is completed.
No. Pay in Full is not a credit product and is not a regulated credit agreement under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. Vuelo does not charge interest or any additional fees for using Pay in Full.
Your card issuer may charge interest, fees, or foreign transaction charges under your separate agreement with them. If you have any questions about such charges, please contact your card issuer directly.
The default payment currency for Pay in Full is Great British Pounds (GBP). If your booking involves a currency other than GBP, the transaction amount will be converted to GBP at the exchange rate set by your card network (Visa or Mastercard) on the business day the transaction is processed. Vuelo does not apply any currency exchange mark-up or fees.
You bear the currency risk during the period between your payment and the point at which the transaction is processed by the card network. If the exchange rate moves adversely during this period, you may be required to pay a higher GBP amount than anticipated.
Where required by law, Vuelo will provide you with exchange rate information via push notification for transactions involving EEA currencies. You can manage these notifications in the Settings section of the Vuelo App.
The cancellation and refund policy for your booking is determined by the relevant travel provider. Please review their terms before completing your purchase.
Where a cancellation or refund is accepted by the travel provider, Vuelo will return the corresponding amount to the payment card you used to make the original booking, once Vuelo has received the funds from the travel provider.
If you received a refund directly from the travel provider, you remain responsible for settling any outstanding amount with Vuelo.
If you used a voucher or promotional credit to cover part of your booking, that portion is not handled through Pay in Full and will be subject to the relevant voucher or promotional terms. Vuelo will not be involved in refunding any such vouchers.
Vuelo or the relevant travel provider may appear as the payee on your payment card statement, depending on the nature of the booking. Full transaction details, including the booking reference and amount, will be visible in the Vuelo App.
If you choose to save your payment card details to your Vuelo account, Vuelo will store these securely. Saved card details may be used to pre-fill payment fields in future transactions for your convenience.
You can manage, update, or remove your saved cards at any time through the Vuelo App. If Vuelo receives updated card details from your card issuer (for example, following a card renewal), we may update our records accordingly.
For full details on how we collect and process your personal and financial data, please refer to our Privacy Notice.
Vuelo retains the right to suspend or block your use of Pay in Full under objectively justified circumstances, including concerns related to security, suspicion of unauthorised or fraudulent use, a substantial increase in the risk of your inability to fulfil your payment obligations, or if the Service is being utilised in violation of these Terms or applicable laws.
Vuelo’s responsibility under these Terms is limited to processing payment to the travel provider on your behalf. Any complaints or disputes concerning the travel product itself, including cancellations, itinerary changes, or service quality, should be addressed directly between you and the travel provider. This does not affect your payment obligation to Vuelo.
If Vuelo receives any repayment from a travel provider in connection with your booking, the corresponding amount will be credited to you accordingly.
These Terms may be revised from time to time. We will provide you with at least 30 days’ advance notice of any changes. If you do not agree with the revised Terms, you may contact customer service and terminate your use of the Service. Continued use of Pay in Full after the effective date of any change will be taken as your acceptance of the revised Terms.
You are not permitted to transfer or assign any of your rights or obligations under these Terms. However, Vuelo reserves the right to transfer or assign these Terms or any right or obligation under them at any time, as permitted by applicable law, provided that such transfer does not negatively affect your rights and obligations under these Terms.
This agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law.
